I added 1 g Ti3AlC2 to 1g LiF and 20mL 9 M HCl and stirred it at 450 rpm at room temperature for 48 h.After deionized water washing and ultrasonic treatment, the product was obtained, but its XRD pattern showed that it contained LiF.How do I wash LiF?

Below I found some solubility data for you for LiF that can be used for putting together a washing strategy. I would work on with the idea of washing with DI water with multiple cycles. In the end dry by any number of means. A bit of an Edisonian approach, aka trial and error as I assume you also don't want water either. Using desiccator and/or flowing drying gas or air can also be useful. I think this should be a good starting point. However, water is not the only option out there but it might be a simple approach as DI water or ultra pure water are often found in many labs. As I am not aware of a final product only you can confirm how stabile the product is and if water or some other solvent is better for washing. Good luck.

Dear Yunfa Si I fully agree with John Reye in that repeated washing with (warm) water is the method of choice to remove the remaining LiF from your sample. Unfortunately, the solubility of lithium fluoride in water is rather low (1,3 g·l−1 at 25 °C) due to its high lattice energy. For more information please also see the closely related RG thread cited below. Ethanol is not advisable as LiF in insoluble in this solvent.
