I'm looking for a software to visualise a tetrahedron (pyramid). Basically I select a few points inside and on the surface of this tetrahedron, each point is a combination of 4 components to a total of 100% amount (mixture design in Minitab). And each point will have a value as response.
Now I can get the ternary graphs from OriginPro, I can put them in stack like the left graph in the File, or I combine them together as a flat sheet as in the right graph. Either way I need a proper software to standardise the graph as I drew the examples by Paint.
Anyone have any suggestion? Or even not in this format, but able to visualise the pyramid, inside and outside?
Looks like you need an efficient 3D program. Use Blender or PovRay to dynamicalyy model it in 3D. Otherwise use Inkscape for static 2D vector drawing.
Unfortunately R has very poor graphics capabiities, as they are derived from gnuplot (gnuplot.info).
Do not use Paint as it is extremely simplified tool.

Easiest way - use Wolfram Mathematica. See attached picture. You can even easily rotate tetrahedron and choose best view, Also see documentation.
