How to validate the results of the quantitative survey? I did a survey and analyzed the data in SPSS with the Chi-square test. A reviewer asked me to provide validation of the survey result and I don't know how to do it.

The chief question that affects how to answer your query is, to what use(s) are you putting the scores? Instrument validation covers a lot of ground, and a thorough job can call for the mustering of considerable data as evidence.

it is nothing but giving value to your optional answers provided or to the answers given by the other party. it may go as scale from 0 to 3 or 5, or 7 etc.. but each value should provide true meaning to the answers provided.
The validation should happen before the actual study starts after correction in the pilot study .The validation after data collection results in more bias.
