The aim is to test contents, the way contents presented online, engagement, clarity, flexibility, the function of each link, colours used, interactivity tools etc. You may ask participants (students, colleagues, etc.) to give you feedback, to test material created, and suggestions for improvement. You could also use standardised questionnaires, etc.
The summative evaluation is carried out when the whole project is completed. You may use the same tools used in the formative assessment. The entire aim of such assessment is to use these evaluations to improve the online resource.
