The Geoid is an irregular nonmathematical surface. Its determination is very important tomhave accurate locations, coordinates and map,with allthe variety of applications requiring different levels of accuracy, it used to depend on gravity measurements, now it seems s benefetting from the huge number of satellites orbiting, every one them has a calculated or predicted path, when an anomaly is evidenced n the true paths of a satellite this can be used to improve the geoide determination, to better calculate its undulations and ultimately better deriving a suitable ellipsoid on which maps and coordinates depend. It needa alot of correlations and calibrations to use these processes in a useful way for mineral exploration, ultimately it is a question problem of interpretation of gravity data, hence a potential method its interpretations are solutions of inverse problems usually admitting an infinity of mathematically correct solutions while the physical "true" solution corresponding to field reality is unique. One more point unless the mineral target being really exceptionally huge, gravity anomalies are so tiny to require generalizing the method for usual routine mineral exploration.
