Drain current coming as a pulse for a input-pulse of Vd with a constant Vg. Its happening in seconds and milliseconds. The current shoots from 0 to max value in straight line. no ramp transition. To see the ramp, I reduced timescale to us, ns, ps. All the time the current comes as 0 after sharp shootout. Why?

Dear Vijaya,
the reason for the sharp current response
is the so-called displacement current to
reach your "steady-state" condition.
It is associated with the drain-source capacitance Cds
and the deviation of drain-source voltage along t (dU_ds/dt),
and the other contributions drain-bulk, drain-gate.
