In 100 participants fingerprints from all 10 fingers were analyzed. For each finger, the fingerprint pattern was recorded as one of four categories (Loop, Arch, Whorl, or Composite). In addition to fingerprints, the blood group of each participant was recorded as a nominal variable with 8 possible categories. The research question is: Are the two variables, fingerprint pattern and blood group, related?
How should I proceed to obtain an answer to the Research Question?

Relationship of machine learning model is established through different parameters with their boundary condition. Try to analysis first whether those feature are in same space or independent to their feature space. Then relationship come into picture.
Bahadorreza Ofoghi , Pearson Chi-square will not adjust for the clustering present in this dataset. We have data collected from 10 fingers from each of the 100 persons. Chi-square shouldn't be an option, in my opinion.
