The settling issues with nanofluids and deposition may pose problems bigger than enhancement of heat transfer rate. Normally, we will finish the experiment before deposition of nanoparticles begins. Other chemicals used to prevent deposition also poses problems. What are the pre-requisites, a researcher should do to justify ourselves about the practical application of results of our research in this context?
Dear Mr. Arjun, some researchers doing their experiments in short and long time for example in short time study the deposition of nanoparticles not noticeable especially with good preparing method (good stability ) and in long time study that mean deposition will be significantly effect on enhancement process. also one more thing should we put in our consideration the application that we are looking for ( for example in boiling process the deposition of those particles will be useful to modifying the topology of heated surface and this is other important issue in enhancement of critical heat flux. my regards
