I have a Scopus Database result of a topic which contains identical names mostly from China and Hong Kong. When I run the bibliometric analysis both in R and VosViewer, it gives me a misleading result by considering all identical names as a single.
Is there any technique to disambiguate the author's name to get the result as same as Scopus Analyser?
Any help is highly appreciated!

Best way to resolve this issue is to attach the author affiliations or using scopus ID of authors, because scopus ID is unique for each author.
Basharat Ahmad Malik Thanks a lot, Dr Basharat. But, this would be a challenge when we visualise the text on Vosviewer. Such images can not be edited. Someone suggested using their full name. Will it work?

But scopus database doesn't provide full name of authors. WoS database provides the full name of authors from year 2006 onwards...You can check this from my paper titled "Research Output of Jammu and Kashmir Articles: A Scientometric Analysis Using Science Citation Index–Expanded"

There is another challenge there. If we go by Scopus ID, it becomes difficult while visualizing with Vosviewer.
You have to edit the data file before importing it into the VosViewer.
As I know, the new enhanced version of the search page in Scopus also offers "Author full names". Maybe that field will help.
Sounds like a good solution. However, there are character limitations, I believe. I appreciate your answer!
