I am trying to model heat flow in a solid material. I am using periodic ON/OFF of the Electromagnetic source (Antenna), via a rectangular pulse. The pulse is ON for 12 hours and OFF for 12 hours, and I would like to see behavior of the temperature over a period of 6 months. While doing this, I face convergence error due to singularity (Error: Last time step did not converge).
I tried changing the mesh size, damping factor, relative and absolute tolerances. Nothing seem to work.
Any suggestions?
