In my raw rice the moisture content is 12%. For my experiment normally I used 600 ml water for 200 g rice in soaking and put it in water bath at 40°C for 6 hours. If I need to soaked on different moisture content(15%, 20%,25%,30%), How could I make?
You can soak the the grains and progressively measure the moisture content after every 5 or 10 minutes. The time interval can vary as a function of the method (hot or cold soaking) and as function of the variety. You know, rice varieties with thick husk will slowly absorb water.
From my undertanding of your study, here is my advise as I practiced soaking during fermentation using microorganism at a precise moisture But you Don't use microorganism.
First you need to distinguish between the inetrnal moisture content of your rice which is 12% and which you can easily measure using a Grain moisture tester AND the moisture content of your soaking medium (reactor in fermentation).
So, If you worry is about the moisture content of the soaking medium, this is my advise:
15% means you soak 15g of rice in 100 ml of water
20% means 20g in 100 ml of water
25% means 25g in 100ml of water
30% is 30g in 100ml
And you can multiply both sides by any factor of your choice depending on the amount of sample you have i.e for 15% for instance you can have 150g in 1000ml of water.
I hope you can see how the moisture content varies as you increase the amount of rice and maintain the amount of water as 100 (percentage).
Hope this will help you. You may have other option by other experts!
