Hello, I simulated solar cell according the experiment, Voc,Jsc,FF and PCE is fine. but the EQE is very different compared with experiment. I don't know how to simulate it? I don't consider the absorption and front reflection. I set the absorption coefficient is constant. These two parameters is important? How to set them? I need your help. Thank you in advance!
Hi Mr. Ren,
Using SCAPS1D, there is option for finding out characteristics of QE specifically IPCE (Incident Photon to Current Efficiency) or IQE (Internal Quantum Effciency ). You have to first create a definition file of your experimented solar cell. Each active layer of the cell has to be defined seperately by using "Set Problem" followed by "add layer " option in the 'Action Panel" . The parameters of the individual layer includes optical, material and electrical properties followed by spaces for providing absorption coefficent as a single value or a continous value seperate file. Please refer the images attached . After setting the definition file. Come to action panel and click the QE(IPCE) option and then click "single shot tab. Give some time for simulation and click on QE tab of action panel to see the respective QE.

Thank you for your answer. I calculated EQE accordingly. But I always obtained the images (like my question), which can not agree with experiment. My structure is homojunction solar cell. I don't know how to set absorption mode and spectrum. Thank you again!
