I want to know how to add scale bar to a histopathological image using ImageJ whose image scale was not recorded at the time of taking the image.I got to know from the technicians that 1micron is equal to 0.0465 pixel for the microscope and images were taken using 40X magnification. At the top left corner of ImageJ software I am getting a value 4.64 X 4.61 (1392 X 1040).Kindly help urgently.

@Shafagat Mahamudova no mention on how to add scale bar to the image for publication.
After you have set the scale for the image in ImageJ, click: Analyze > Tools > Scale bar ... then set the parameters from there. Also, google your question will get you a faster and more accurate response to a question like this.
