Im currently trying to electrospinn 16% Polyurethane in DMF/THF on a 2mm mandrel and im having a hard time removing the spun scaffold.

I tried soaking it in water for 24 hours but it is still very hard to remove. Also submersing it in 70% ethanol for 20 min wasn't successful. It definitely made it easier removable, but it destroyed the structure.

I oft read people using aluminium foil around the mandrel and then soaking it with ethanol for 3 minutes.

Also, has anyone tried soaking the mandrel with distilled water and then putting the mandrel in the vacuum oven for a certain time, and then removing the scaffold ?
