Because of high oxidation potential of lithium, this material has been put in paraffin solution. How can i remove paraffin from metal for Li-S battery assembling?
I assume you mean paraffin oil. You can rinse it off with a low-boiling hydrocarbon such as hexane. Just be sure the solvent it very dry and work in a good glove box with an argon or helium atmosphere (lithium reacts with nitrogen).
You can wash with hexane as suggested above and also wash with the solvent of the electrolyte (DME or DOL) to remove traces of hexane. The lithium can be then dried before use to get rid of the solvent.
