We are preparing organic molecules functionalized ZnO nanords (vertically aligned). For my application, I don’t need organic molecules functionalization on top surface of the ZnO nanorods.
How to remove organic molecules selectively in top surface?
Look in the directory or from your experiments choose an organic solvent in which your substance is well soluble. Mix with your nanoparticles and centrifuge. Separate your clean nanoparticles and air dry the solvent.
I'm not sure to understand properly your question but if you need to remove organic from a flat surface (e.g. from ZnO nanorods coating on a glass slide), I would suggest using a UV-ozone cleaner:
