My millipore glass filter was contaminated with fungus. The fungus formed inside the millipore glass filter.. So how to remove the fungus inside the glass filter.
You can remove fungus by steam sterilization in autoclave, at 120 deg.C for 20 min. Any glassware, plasticware, solutions, media, biological samples contaminated with bacteria or fungus can be decontaminated in this way.
Mr. Permal, I would add that after sterilization for decontamination, you may try an ultrasound cleaning with solvent or simply with tap water for a better removal of any solid particles or biomass residuals retained in filter. If concern is about fungus spores but not any filamentous deposit, autoclaving could be enough for the glass filter recovery.
You can use distal water and 3-5 minutes ultrasound vibrater. If it not help, tray Carmen first sujestion.

If the whole filter is glass, wouldn't soaking it in bleach also be an option?
