I am modeling the potenatial distribution of some invasive species in Sri Lanka using GBIF global data and worldclim high resolution (30s) environmental data. I use Maxent software. I need to remove correlated variables from my asc raster layers. I tried sdm tool and enm tool but both didn't work due to python limits. When i tried with 10 asc layers both tools worked. I am wondering to select variables using 10m resolution and go back and use 30s resolution for modeling.Is there any issue with that? I would appreciate if somebody could direct me.
Tou can run subgroups where correlations are nil. Alternatively, you can correct the joint-vairance (JV) with the KV calculator or your individual predictors (see, Schoen et L, 2011).
