I want to reduce the viscosity of commercially available carbon paste for electrodes. How can I reduce the viscosity without losing the conductivity.
Very often a mixture of alcohol and water is used to prepare inks for electrodes. But the drying procedure can be tricky to avoid any drying cracks.

it depends from solutions you are working. if it is water buffers you cant use water or alcohols they will be dissolved in water and demage your electrode. Better is to use mineral oils in that cases.
how about curing in case of mineral oil. Can I cure my electrode if I use mineral oil ? thanks

When I tried to energy minimization my system, I got fatal error as below. Fatal error: Atomtype opls_116 not found Although I've already added this line: ; include water #include "oplsaa.ff/spc.itp" to [molecultype] directive in my topology.
