I had synthesized nanopowders by using the coprecipitation method and I got 300nm of size but I want to reduce their size for better imaging and results and also I want to characterize them using DLS but I have first to disperse them in a solvent so which solvent should I use ?

The easiest things to try are sonication for size reduction, and water for DLS. Of course, as already pointed out, this might not work for your material.
Reduction of size completely depends on the detailed synthetic protocol and environment, which is obviously different for different nano-materials. Generally, the following techniques are useful:
1. Synthesis in lower temperature,
2. Reducing reaction time,
3. Using capping agents to control growth,
4. Instead of conventional wet methods, you may also try microwave synthesis, which produces ultrasmall nanoparticles very fast,
5. Before synthesis, the precursors should be added in the solvent in a lower concentration to make it more dilute.
Generally, using one of the above or a suitable combination can help you achieve much smaller particles.

The decrease in temperature leads to a decrease in the size of the elementary particles and an increase in the specific surface area, as well as a modification of the morphology. Indeed, by increasing the temperature, the phenomena of collision and coalescence of the particles predominate, hence the increase in their size. Concerning the influence of the reaction time, the increase in this factor leads to a decrease in the fineness of the particles. Similarly, the increase in concentration leads to an increase in particle size.
