In tissue culture, after each subculture, we are left with lots of petri dishes containing solid media (MS media). My questions are

1) how to benefit from this waste? is it a good idea to recycle it somehow?

2) Can we liquidify the media and use it (in liquid form) as fertilisers for the plantlets or any other plants in nursery/field

3) If no. (2) is possible, is there any specific method to melt the agar and keep it in liquid state? Do we have to add anything into it (or ferment it) prior to use it as fertilizers
