I have a problem with coupling Matlab with Phreeqc. Let me explain! For instance, I made a data file of Phreeqc in Matlab. Then, I make changes in my inputs using a genetic algorithm to reach the optimum state and continually run Phreeqc. As you know, when Matlab software is coupled with Phreeqc, there is no control over the program until the simulation of Phreeqc finished. Therefore, if Phreeqc is crashed or not converged, you cannot access Phreeqc or even stop it to continue the genetic algorithm process. In this situation, is there a solution to tackle this problem?
