Is there any experimental way to quantify the surface polarity of peptide nanotube?

FYI: The spatial molecular organization of the peptide nanotubes is not known although the building block is known.

Accurate determination of the surface polarity of nanotubes is a difficult task.

Do you need to determine the surface dry or in water? If in water, it is possible to disperse them and determine the zeta potential by electrophoresis. You will determine to which positive or negative electrode the particles move. From dry nanoparticles (powder), you can make a plate and determine the contact angle of wetting with water.
