If I'm interested in quantifying the concentrations of rare earth elements (collectively, not each one individually) in plant aboveground tissues, in a screen where I might be doing dozens if not hundreds of plants, what's the best way to do so in a high-throughput way? Using techniques like ICP-MS would be prohibitively expensive and time-consuming, and an XRF scanner would be a good solution but we don't have access to one. Any other solutions out there that I should be made aware of? Thanks!
