Hello everyone... I am working on synthesis of MgAgSb for thermoelectric application through high energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering technique. In spite of following all the precautionary measurements i am not getting the pure phase of MgAgSb. Various impurities (Mg3Sb2, Ag3Sb, Sb) are associated with final product detected by XRD, which ultimately reduce the ZT value through high thermal conductivity and lowering electrical conductivity and seebeck coefficient. is there any suggestion to avoid these impurities during synthesis.
