How to produce foam cells in vitro?

We hardly try to produce foam cells in vitro with oxidized LDL. We use human LDL and try to oxidize with CuSO4. But this doesn't work. Is there anybody with a working protocol ?

Do you isolate LDL from blood? how do you resuspend them and what concentration of CuSO4 do you use?
