We are facing issues to achieve seersucker effect. We only need to desize+washing and sanforize (continuous) it but the puckered effect will disappear? Can anyone suggest any alternate route?
1. Garment wash can be used but not productive.
2. If garment wash is used then how to control shrinkage?

The effect is created by varying tension of warp yarns on loom. Desize and washing should not affect seersucker, rather enhance it. Sanforize may slightly change the effect. Also give overfeed in the stenter.
As Manas points out - seersucker is based on (continuous) warp (or weft) tension differentiation. If you have opportunity to experiment, effect can be further enhanced by subtle variation in (opposing) weave structures to maximise on yarn tendencies. It is also worth looking at sized : over-sized yarns differentiation. The key is in how one thing works against the other.
1. Use the yarn which should be pre shrink .
2. Use water soluble size on yarn to prevent hydrodynamic pressure & mechanical stress to fabric.
2. Process with low tension & water pressure.
3. Sanforize will helps to increase puckered effect but it should be treat with low tension .
