If you have an existing .dfs2 file that you wish to generate, I suggest you:

1) Load the existing dfs2 into batsf (bathymetry editor).

2) Load the xyz file in as "scatter data"

3) Then interpolate the scatter data into the dfs2, export as dfs2.

Now the issue is that the SPM data is registered under unit of meter. Is there any other way to import this into g/m2 ?

I don't really understand. Could you please tell me what is the item and unit you trying to convert. From meter to g/m2, but what is it?

You should import your dfs2 file then from Data menu you have to import your boundary (as .xyz)

In the end from Mesh menu interpolate them and export there as dfs2.

Hi, you can try to open your dfs2 file and look in the menu for items and there try to edit the units, it should be possible.

Just make sure you do the conversion correctly after changing the unit base.
