To prepare 1% (w/v) water agar gel, You should add 1 gram of agar per 100 ml of water and generalize this ratio to the desired final volume. Preheat the medium to 80 degrees Celsius and allow the agar to dissolve, then pour it into the Petri dishes or jars.
