Hi,

I am using the DAMASK 3.0.0 software and I don't know how to plot pole figures and ODFs in the post-processing part of the simulation with DAMASK. As my first try with this software, I tried to do a simple simulation with available files of the DAMASK website which includes the geometry file:20grains16x16x16.vti, load:tensionX.yaml, material configuration: material.yaml and the numerics.yaml file. I completed my simulation in the pre-processing level using the code: DAMASK_grid --load tensionX.yaml --geom 20grains16x16x16.vti, and now I have my results as a HDF5 file format which includes data such as equivalent plastic stain, von Mises stress, quaternions etc. I saved those quaternions as a text file. This text file includes 4096 lines because of the 16x16x16 grids, and 4 columns for each of the quaternion data and I'm trying to use them to plot pole figures with Mtex. I clicked on the 'import pole figure data' button which led me to a new tab. In that tab, MATLAB listed those quaternions in 4 columns, but at the bottom right part of this tab the 'Finish' button is deactivated and is not working. I will be really thankful if anyone can help me with this issue and can help me get more familiar with DAMASK. Do I have to calculate the Euler angles from these quaternions or anything else? If yes, which python command of the DAMASK processing tools does that for me? I'm trying to learn how to do the texture analysis from DAMASK results of the spectral solver. Thank you very much for taking time reading this message. In the following, I'll attach my mentioned quaternion data file too.
