Dear colleague,

Previously, I plot the origin of air masses based on NOAA HYSPLIT back trajectory analysis ((Draxler and Rolph, 2013). However, as we know, the origin of air mass also depend on the meteorological conditions in the regional scale, especially wind speed/direction. Kim et al. (2016) uses The European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) ERA-Interim (Dee et al., 2011) geopotential height (m) and wind vectors (m s−1) at a pressure level of 850 hPa to describe meteorological conditions during transport route of polluted air. However, I do not know how to plot that graph. Can anybody suggest how to plot this graph?

Thank you very much.

Sincerely Yours,
