Hi everyone.

I am trying to simulate a shaking table test on a steel storage rack system by using full transient analysis module in ANSYS Workbench. The system is connected to the shaking table platform using bolts. In the finite element simulation, I need to apply the acceleration as base excitation on the supports in x direction to represent the actual behaviour of the structure. So, in ANSYS, there is no choice to apply the acceleration on the support in the case of the full transient analysis. Note: the modal analysis is not allowable, as it won't consider the material nonlinearity in the analysis. Is there any other method to apply the acceleration directly as base excitation?

The structure is shown in the attached image.
