I actually wanted to perform a few chemical tests on soils to determine if proteins are present in them or not. The analysis is going to be in-situ which means I would be adding chemicals to that same soil without removing anything from it. So, could anyone help me with extracting proteins from soils, and do you have any suggestions of any instant tests for proteins?
