How to perform Ciritical Current Density (CCD) test for Solid-State Lithium Metal Battery?
what will be the cell structure? lithium dia should be larger/smaller/same than current collector?
I am using WonATech battery testing quipment.

To perform the critical current density test to your cell, you should apply time controlled or capacity controlled symmetrical cell measurements. If you apply time controlled, then the time should be constant while you increase the current density. Therefore areal capacity will increase in every step. For the capacity controlled measurement, your capacity should be constant with the increase of the current density. Thus, time that the current density is applied must decrease.

You can perform it using (same diameter/area current collector) 3-symmetrical cells, as follows:
1. (Cu-foil/Li-foil) // SSE // (Li-foil/Cu-foil), to check near to Li-interfaces
2. (Anode) // SSE // (Anode), to check your specific Anode's interfaces
and
3. (Cathode) // SSE // (Cathode), to check your specific Cathode's interfaces.
