I have a query regarding how much gram to be taken when one include doping into the system to maintain the stoichiometry by co-precipitation method. My initial precursors are calcium nitrate tetra hydrate, di-ammonium hydrogen phosphate and Ferric nitrate. For pure apatite, I know that Ca/P ratio must be 1.67, so basically I make them both at 0.5 M in say 100 ml water, but then I add only 60 ml di-ammonium hydrogen phosphate to maintain the stoichiometry. Now when I include doping precursor too, now how do I maintain the ratio now of (Ca+Fe)/P to be 1.67 still. Like for 1% (at%) of Fe precursor to be doped, what molar solution should I make it and same for Calcium too, like do i have to make both at same molar i.e. 0.5 M to maintain the ratio as 1.67? And then how much amount should one take both of them to maintain the ratio as 1.67?
