I really need some help in the analysis. My model consists of 2 IVs, one mediator and 3 DVs.
My theoretical model is in the file. In the model ____ shows a negative relationship, while (X) on two arrows predicts a non-significant relationship. My question has three parts.
1. Do I really need to theorize those relationship for which there is no-relationship? For instance, consider PP, the literature suggests that RM will be negatively related to PP but given the nature of the construct PP, it is unlikely that NR will have any relationship with PP. So should I theorize for those relationships that seems to have no relationship theoretically and logically?
2. If the relationships are unlikely to be established, do I need to include even in my model in the first place?
3. If I include them and there are nonsignificant relationship, when I introduce the model, what should I do with those non-significant paths in the initial, direct model.

Please look at the results of the model and guide me for the mediation. One of the direct hypothesized path in the model is non-significant, should I remove this path when include the mediator? Moreover, should I report the results of the non-hypothesized path which is non-significant just to show how NR and MR, which are two key and related aspects of the same construct to highlight the differences in terms of influence on the DVs.
Thank you so much. Yes, the model I uploaded does not include the mediator. Actually, I first hypothesized for the direct relationship and then I will test the mediation. That is, i followed two steps, first direct and then mediation. I am sure your paper will help me.
