If I understand the question the adjusted odds ratio is really not helpful given your other results. If you still want to compute it google adjusted odds ratio and look at the videos and images. Best wishes, David Booth

I do agree with the fact that the aOR from the non-significant bivariate analysis is not really helpful.

"Only factors with significant value in bivariate analyses will be considered for the multivariate model" (Rodrigues, 2018).

I do know how to obtain the aOR for the multivariate model & it is definitely insightful for interpretation.

However, I have come across a handful of articles that the aOR is calculated from the non-significant bivariate analysis and I wondered how it is calculated when it is not included in the multivariate model.

See the attached screenshot for how to find it in SPSS. IF there is no relationship in the simple regression there's very little chance of of finding one in the multivariable case. Please note that multivariate means multiple dependent variables. With best wishes, David Booth
