Abnormal Head Posture (AHP) refers to an unsuitable head position on horizontal, vertical or anteroposterior axis. AHP may occur due to muscular, neurological, vestibular or ocular causes.

Personally I have to deal with several cases of ocular torticollis, my question concerns the measurement methodology because I can't find an objective and standardized (or standardizable) method to objectify the variations of the torticollis before and after a treatment. Sometimes I have used a wall goniometer but this method is effective for the inclination but not for the head rotation. Photos, on the other hand, are a valid empirical method but this kind of method cannot be considered valid or sufficient for research purposes.

Is there anyone who can help me or who is interested in sharing experiences in this field?

Thank you, Michele.
