How to mount paraffine block in microtome?

I do not use embedding cassette - please tell me how it is possible to mount the paraffine block in the clamp like this (in the link) to prevent the block from breaking...

The block is just mountetd with the screw. Such blocks normally are deeper than the ones you use with cassetes to prevent breaking.
