Hi everyone, is there any paper or model which relates the factors which control snowfall rates? The idea is to quantify the effect of climatic/geographical conditions to justify the existence of snow over highlands.
The logistic functions relate the occurrence according to the temperature, however, they do not take into account the effect of altitude or vapor pressure directly. Please suggest to me any research that integrates these issues.

First of all you must know about the area you are focusing on.
Second is you have to look into the precipitation relationship with each parameter using statistical technique
Third is you have to come out with how many phases of precipitation, which particular parameter is showing agreement with it and finally you have to combine these results to get the precipitation phase .
here one of my concern is precipitation includes rainfall and snow. So you be clear about which one you are looking for.
