I have successfully modeled several experimental tests for slab-column connection both for concentric gravity loading and lateral monotonic loading using ATENA software and the results were very good compared to the actual experimental test. However, now I am trying to create a slab-column connection which is tested under reversed-cyclic loading condition. The only difference that we can introduce in ATENA software for this case is Unloading Factor (located in Concrete Parameter) and Bauschinger Effect (located in Reinforcement Parameter). I have analysed several models and I had such a difficulties to reach convergence. My analysis always stop at lower drift level compared to the actual test due to the convergence criteria is not satisfied.

I found out that lower Unloading Factor may cause this problem, but higher Unloading Factor gives wider hysteretic loops which are not representing the actual test (pinching shape) appropriately. Is anybody ever get good cyclic model with ATENA? I really need your suggestions about this and it would be very helpful for me if you may share the parameter that you were using within your model. Thank you very much for your consideration.
