I am working on interstitial materials to enhance contact conductance. Thermal pastes mixed with highly conducting nanopowder might be a good solution.
First heat the thermal paste to a higher temperature to reduce its viscosity, then add nano particles in the paste and go for mechanical stirring (30min). If you can control the viscosity to a higher time, then after mechanical stirring go for ultrasonic vibration.
I would suggest checking for any volatile substance within the paste which might be harmful. If not then heat it to a lower viscosity, place it in a small beaker and on a magnetic stirrer and then using low RPM add the powder to have a homogenous mixture.
