Can anybody suggest how to measure the concentration of gaseous hydrogen? I am interested in an advanced instrumentation with high sensitivity, not traditional methods.
You may want to consider a Gas Chromatograph with a Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID). This instrument is capable of detecting very low concentrations of hydrogen gas and can be used to accurately measure hydrogen gas concentrations. Another option is to use a Cavity Ringdown Spectroscopy (CRDS) system. CRDS is a laser-based spectroscopy technique that can be used to measure very low concentrations of gases, including hydrogen.
