The Schauenberg index in this regard is the skull long to the cranial capacity. This indicator was introduced by Paul Schauenberg in 1969 as a method for determining the European wild cat (Felis Silvestris) skulls and to distinguish it from the domestic cat (Felis Katya) skulls.
