I have to measure globule size of micro emulsion which was incorporated into Hydrogel ( Hydrogel was prepared by incorporating micro emulsion in the Hydro gel of carbopol 940).
There are many instrument available for measurement of globule size of microemulsion in liquid form, but i have not any idea about to measurement of globule size in gel form.
I am not an expert in microemulsions but: Did you think about using scattering techniques like (ultra-) small angle scattering (either x-ray, neutrons) or light scattering (if the sample can be made dilute and thin)? With this one can determine the size, shape, and polydispersity.

sir i think your suggestions about light scattering is generally done by malvern instruments-UK. are only for liquid dosage form. i am not sure. if any suggestions than aware me.
I believe that DWS (diffusive wave spectroscopy) might be a valid approach, if there is plenty of scattering but it is not a very common instrument (i.e., hard to locate).

As far as i see this instrument is used for DLS (dynamic light scattering). With this technique you measure the diffusion of the particles and by this indirectly the size (in a similar fashion like DWS). Of course this technique will not work for static samples you have as i assume. Therefore, my quote was to use static light scattering (the analogon to SAXS and SANS).
