I am trying to measure galvanostatic charge discharge of supercapacitors by electrochemical workstation. It has three options to measure GCD; based on potential/ charging time or both. Which one should I follow to get the capacitance from the graph? What should I put for discharging current?
you have to select based on E. you have to give the maximum and minimum E value for discharge and charge respectively. The current should be put depending on your active electrode amount. typically range from 1 A/g to 20 A/g. for eg if your electrode amount is 2 mg.then you have to put 2 mA for getting 1 A/g current density. read some review articles and tutorial review articles.

Cs = I Δt / m V where I is the discharged current (A), Δt is the discharged time (s), and ΔV is the potential window (V) and m is mass(g).
