I want to make continuous viscosity monitoring of a ceramic slurry by measuring the drag of a slender body immersed in it.
The body is slender, axisymmetric in shape, and immersed in a ceramic slurry stream so to have a Reynolds number (based on its maximum diameter and slurry speed) of about 100. The slender body aspect ratio (length/maximum diameter) should not exceed 3.
What is the best body shape to maximize viscous drag ?
