You could use thick Aluminium foils to make temporal masks. The holes or patterns can be done easily using your art skills to cut. I did it in the past that does work for the purposes.
Dear Aman Baunthiyal a good and cheap solution could be printing your mask on a transparent plastic foil. It would depend on your pattern´s size, but you can try with a tabletop printer or better in a professional one. It works pretty well for us.
Agree with Manuel Gomez, we have in our lab also used mask made out of printing in transparent plastic sheet, it worked quiet efficiently. However, if the dimensions are too low it will not work.. For better experience use good quality printer as suggested. .
Thank you all for your answers and suggestion. They seems to be very helpful.
But I have a doubt regarding the temperature dependent growth. I am not sure that aluminium sheet or transparent plastic will be good for growth above 500 deg Celc..
Maybe I am wrong but your thoughts will be helpful.
Can you elaborate. Mask is needed in lithography where temperature should not be an issue. And using directly inside thin film should not be an issue either where temperature doesn't rise that much.
Aluminium foil masks are good enough for thermal evaporation. However, plastic masks are good for photolithography, not for thermal evaporation as you mentioned the high temperature to use.
