After working with TripleQuad or QTrap instruments its difficult to get used to features of TripleTOF, I was in similar situation. Actually, You can not find an MRM mode in Analyst TF software. The reason is that the TOF collects all data simultaneously, so You obtain the TIC chromatogram in defined product ions mass range. To convert it into MRM chromatogram, You should extract XIC signal from recorded data with desirable mass window, for example 0.001 Da or use the default setting depending on instrument resolution (peak width). Of course, it is possible to record an MRM-like chromatogram if You defined in method the q1 mass as well as very narrow mass range for TOF.

you can do what AB like to call MRM HR on the 5600+. Have a look (link below) for some definitions of the acronyms.

For setting up the experiment have a look at the attached PDFs from AB.

Since you've been doing SRM (MRM) on a trap then I'm guessing you are using Skyline? You can also use this to analyse the MRM HR. If you are not using Skyline, I highly recommend it. Link below.

A quick search says yes. Skyline have a poster from 2011 (attached) showing data for a Synapt and a brief look a the Waters website shows a not very informative document (more marketing than real info, attached) with their take on MRM HR.

I would expect all the major MS manufacturers would have instruments capable of this kind of work.

Thanks Peter!  Now, those are applications for a Synapt-G2. We have the first version, plain Synapt....  Not even with the MSE feature.
