Usually, the automobile ignition system is considered as a charging system. That was only a part of the system. Another part is the voltage generating system. The system is modeled
by a voltage source, the battery and alternator and a resistor that represents the resistance of the wiring. The ignition coil is modeled by the inductor and a capacitor (known as the condenser to auto mechanics) with a switch (known as the breaking points or electronic ignition).
What about electric cars like LEAF and others used frequently in the streets?
